Visit statistics (Google Analytics 4)
- Only with your consent. If you click "Decline" in the cookie notice, Google Analytics is not loaded and no analytics cookie is stored.
- Data: pages visited, length of visit, device and browser type, approximate country and city, and a pseudonymous identifier stored in a cookie. IP address anonymization is enabled.
- Purpose: to learn which articles are read most and improve the site. It is not used for advertising or to build profiles.
- Legal basis: your consent, which you can withdraw at any time from "Cookie settings" in the footer.
- Retention: at most 14 months.
Contact form
- Data: your name, email address and the message you write.
- Purpose: to reply to you. Nothing else.
- Legal basis: your consent (the box you tick when sending).
- Retention: as long as needed to handle your request and, at most, 12 months after the conversation is closed, unless the law requires keeping it longer.
Security and spam control
- To prevent abuse, the server temporarily keeps in its memory the IP address from which the form is submitted (it is not saved to disk or to any file). It is discarded after a short time or when the server restarts.
- The hosting provider records technical data about visits (IP address, date and time, browser) in its server logs for security and operational reasons. Legal basis: legitimate interest in the security of the site.

Your light or dark theme and your cookie choice are saved in your browser's local storage. They are not sent to any server.

- We do not sell or hand over your data to third parties for advertising.
- There are no user accounts, public comments or email newsletter.
- We do not use advertising or social media cookies, and we do not embed third-party videos.
- Fonts are served from this same site; your browser does not connect to Google Fonts.
4. Who the data is shared with
Only with providers that supply a necessary service:
- Google (Google Analytics): only if you accept analytics cookies. Google may process data in the United States and other countries, under the safeguards it provides (for example, the EU–US Data Privacy Framework and standard contractual clauses).
- Hostinger (hosting) and the email provider: they host the site and deliver the contact form messages.
If the law requires it, we may disclose data to a competent authority.
